Prospective ID-IRI Sepsis study, accepted for publication

A NOVEL ID-IRI SCORE: DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNAL VALIDATION OF THE MULTIVARIABLE COMMUNITY ACQUIRED SEPSIS CLINICAL RISK PREDICTION MODEL has been accepted for publication in  European Journal of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases. We developed a simplified and easy to use prognostic score for COMMUNITY ACQUIRED SEPSIS PATIENTS named as CAS. I am pleased to tell you that CAS predicts mortality better than APACHE scoring system. I would like to thank Dr Husrev Diktas and Dr. Serhat Uysal for their great contributions to the study.

The patients’ data comes from centers in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Egypt, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Turkey, USA.

Many thanks to our group
